The best ad for dairy products-probably ever
The worst, dreariest ads are the ones that follow them.
You know the sorts of things - car ads with shots on the open road (ah the freedom!), milk ads with slow motion pouring shots (not sure what they - probably some primal connection with breasts), beer ads with dewy bottles (and dewier girls).
This ad for tiny challenger brand Yeo Farms breaks the cliche mould (no pun intended) with their ad for yoghurt.
It is two minutes long, it is a rap…but it is crammed full of cues and information about the brand and is fresh (probably the most compelling reason to choose a milk product).
As a final thought I like how the idea and its media strategy are neatly choreographed.It appeared in the UK edition of The X Factor - it all seems so obvious after the fact.
